Let \((X,B)\) be a simple normal crossing pair (details in Def. 2.15 of the paper under review), \(Y\) a normal irreducible variety, and \(f:X \to Y\) a projective surjective morphism such that the adjoint \(K_X+B\) is \({\mathbb Q}\)-linearly trivial over \(Y\). In these hypotheses, \(f(X,B) \to Y\) is defined to be a \textit{basic slc-trivial fibration}. The main result of the paper under review (see Thm. 1.2) describes the discriminant and moduli \({\mathbb Q}\)-\(b\)-divisors (see section 4.5 for detailed definitions) on \(Y\) associated to the fibration. This description allows the author to give a structure theorem for normal irreducible quasi-log canonical pairs.
