    This interesting paper continues the research of the authors et al. [J. Funct. Anal. 270, No. 12, 4443--4465 (2016; Zbl 1357.47011)]. Let \(C\) be a subset of a topological vector space \(X\). A~continuous linear operator \(T:X \to X\) is called \(C\)-hypercyclic if the set \(\{T^n x \mid n \geq 0, \ x \in C \}\) is dense in \(X\). Extending results of \textit{G. Costakis} [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I, Math. 330, No. 3, 179--182 (2000; Zbl 0953.47004)], \textit{A. Peris} [Math. Z. 236, No. 4, 779--786 (2001; Zbl 0994.47011)], \textit{P. S. Bourdon} and \textit{N. S. Feldman} [Indiana Univ. Math. J. 52, No. 3, 811--819 (2003; Zbl 1049.47002)], \textit{F. León-Saavedra} and \textit{V. Müller} [Integral Equations Oper. Theory 50, No. 3, 385--391 (2004; Zbl 1079.47013)] and of the aforementioned paper, the authors completely characterize the finite-dimensional subsets \(C\) of any separable Hilbert space \(H\) for which the notion of \(C\)-hypercyclicity coincides with the notion of hypercyclicity. They also characterize the finite-dimensional subsets \(C\) of any separable Hilbert space \(H\) for which the somewhere density in \(H\) of \(\{T^n x \mid n \geq 0, \ x \in C \}\) implies the hypercyclicity of the operator \(T\). A~partial description for infinite-dimensional subsets is presented, too. The paper concludes with several open questions.
