Very recently, \textit{N. Gigli} introduced in [Nonsmooth differential geometry -- an approach tailored for spaces with Ricci curvature bounded from below. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS) (2018; Zbl 1404.53056)] a second-order calculus for the class of metric measure spaces with Riemannian Ricci curvature bounded from below permitting to define Hessian and covariant derivatives. Since in the classical smooth Riemannian framework, covariant derivative and parallel transport are two closely related concepts, the main goal of the paper is to get a concept of parallel transport for the RCD spaces. By the nature of the introduced definition, norm-preservation and linearity of the parallel transport are easy to derive and these in turn will give uniqueness. Moreover, the authors show the existence of the parallel transport for a subclass of finite-dimensional RCD spaces (see Theorem 4.15)
