Backward controller of a pullback attractor for delay Benjamin-Bona-Mahony equations (Q2185755)

A new concept, called backward controller for an evolution process, is introduced. This is the minimal compact set controlling all fibers of the pullback attractor in the past. Existence criteria are established by using the backward flattening compactness and the backward equicontinuity of the system. Both backward controllers and backward compact attractors are obtained for the case of the nonautonomous Benjamin-Bona-Mahony equation with distributed delay.
