Let \({f:M\to M}\) be a dynamically coherent partially hyperbolic diffeomorphism on a Riemannian closed manifold \(M\). The main result states that if the central direction of \(f\) is two-dimensional then for all \({x\in M}\) the accessible class \(AC(x)\) (i.e., all \({y\in M}\) for which there exists a path piecewise contained in the leaves of the strong stable and strong unstable foliations and connected \(y\) and \(x\)) is topologically immersed manifold. For similar results with some restrictions see, e.g., [\textit{F. Rodriguez-Hertz} Ann. Math. (2) 162, No. 1, 65--107 (2005; Zbl 1098.37028); \textit{V. Horita}, Comment. Math. Helv. 92, No. 3, 467--512 (2017; Zbl 1380.37066)]. Additionally, the authors prove that if the diffeomorphism satisfies certain bunching condition, then the accessibility classes are immersed \(C^1\)-manifolds. This result yields a positive answer to a conjecture of \textit{A. Wilkinson} [Asterisque 358, 75--165 (2013; Zbl 1348.37054)].
