This paper concerns Iwahori-Hecke algebras of finite Coxeter groups. These are defined by taking the Coxeter presentation of the group \(W\), regarding it as a presentation of an algebra, and replacing each quadratic relation \(T^2=1\) with \((T-q)(T+1)=0\), for some \(q\) in the underlying field. The classical case is where the parameter \(q\) is the same for each \(T\), but there is also interest in the case where different \(q\) are allowed. However, the algebra can easily collapse in this case: in order for the dimension of the algebra to equal that order of \(W\), the same value of \(q\) must be chosen for any two generators of \(W\) whose product has odd order. In this paper, a more general situation is considered, where for each pair of generators with product of odd order, the corresponding \(q\)s must either be equal or have zero product. This ensures that none of the generators collapses, though in general the dimension of the algebra will be less than the order of \(W\). It is not clear that the algebras in this case will provide much insight into the Coxeter groups, but it is nevertheless an interesting case to study. This is the author's second paper on this subject. The focus in the present paper is the classification of simple and projective indecomposable modules (under the assumption that the parameters \(q\) are not roots of unity) in the simply-laced case, and on induction and restriction. The paper is well-written, with good introductory sections containing necessary background on representations of algebras and Coxeter groups. The author presents some good ideas for further study, so there should be some interesting papers to come.
