The aim of the paper is to complete the proof of a conjecture of \textit{S. Kolb} and \textit{J. Pellegrini} [J. Algebra 336, No. 1, 395--416 (2011; Zbl 1266.17011)] for the Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{g}=\mathfrak{sl}_n\), by constructing braid group actions on quantum symmetric pair coideal subalgebras of type AIII/AIV.
