The following Kolmogorov system of impulsive differential equations with variable impulsive perturbations is considered: \begin{align*} \dot{u}_i(t) &= u_i(t)f_i(t, u(t)),\;\; t\not= \tau_k(u(t)),\\ \Delta u_i(t) &= I_{ik}(u_i(t)),\;\; t= \tau_k(u(t)), \end{align*} where \(f_i: [t_0, \infty)\times\mathbb{R}^N_+\to\mathbb{R}\), \(I_{ik}: \mathbb{R}_+\to\mathbb{R}\) for \(i= 1, 2, \ldots, N\), and \(\tau_k: \mathbb{R}^N_+\to\mathbb{R}\) for \(k=1, 2, \ldots\). For a given function \(h: [t_0, \infty)\times\mathbb{R}^N_+\to\mathbb{R}\), the authors define manifolds \(M_t\) and \(M_t(\lambda)\) by \(h\) and then define practical stability by using \(M_t\) and \(M_t(\lambda)\). By using the vector Lyapunov method of piecewise continuous functions, they establish criteria for practical stability for the above system. The obtained results extend and complement the existing stability results for Kolmogorov and related systems.
