The author generalizes a result by [\textit{Y. Xie} and \textit{P. Liu}, Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 141, No. 10, 3361--3367 (2013; Zbl 1297.18004), Corollary 3.5], and also by \textit{C. Fu} and \textit{P. Liu} [Commun. Algebra 37, No. 7, 2410--2418 (2009; Zbl 1175.18004), Corollary 3.6]. Explicitly, if \(\mathcal{C}\) is a triangulated category and \(\mathcal{R}\) is a contravariantly finite rigid subcategory, then mod\((\mathcal{R})\) is an abelian category with enough projective objects (Lemma 3.1). Moreover every tilting subcategory of mod\((\mathcal{R})\) produces a support tilting pair (Lemma 3.2) and lifts to two-term maximal rigid subcategory of \(\mathcal{C}\) (Theorem 3.3). In particular, if \(\mathcal{C}\) is a 2-Calabi-Yau triangulated category, \(\mathcal{M}\) lifts to a maximal rigid subcategory of \(\mathcal{C}\) (Theorem 3.4).
