The authors study \(L\)-systems with dissipative Schrödinger operators (Schrödinger \(L\)-systems). The main objects of the study are the original Weyl-Titchmarsh function \(m_\infty\) and its linear-fractional transformation \(m_\alpha\), as well as their reciprocals \(1/m_\infty\) and \(1/m_\alpha\). The authors show that these functions can be realized as the impedance functions of the corresponding, explicitely given, Schrödinger \(L\)-systems. Moreover, these realizing \(L\)-systems share the same dissipative Schrödinger operator and are related to various boundary problems (Dirichlet, Neumann and mixed). In the case of non-negative symmetric Schrödinger operators, the authors obtain additional properties of the realizations, in particular the authors describe the cases when the realizing Schrödinger \(L\)-systems are accretive. To treat the problem of uniqueness, the authors give the general definition of equality for \(L\)-systems and prove that two Schrödinger \(L\)-systems with the same underlying parameters are equal if and only if their impedance functions match. Also a generaliztion of this result is given to establish a condition for two Schrödinger \(L\)-systems to share the same main operator in terms of the Donoghue transform. The paper is concluded with two examples.
