The authors analyse the issues that originated from considering the time evolution of gene regulatory networks on the base of the representation via probability density functions governed by a system of partial differential equations. The respective PDEs are states as coordinated with the domain of states, switching functions, and belong to the hyperbolic type. It is shown that the evolution problem keeps positive solutions when initial values are positive, has a stationary state and the time-dependent solution is coordinated with the expectable switching dynamics.
