The authors consider Kukles homogeneous systems \begin{align*} & \dot{x}=-y, \\ & \dot{y}=x+{{Q}_{n}}(x,y), \\ \end{align*} where \({{Q}_{n}}(x,y)\) is a homogeneous polynomial of degree \(n\). The authors point out gaps in the proof of Conjecture 1 and 2 for considered system in papers [\textit{J. Giné} et al., Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 47, No. 2, 315--324 (2015; Zbl 1323.34039)] and [\textit{J. Gine} et al., J. Appl. Anal. Comput. 7, No. 4, 1534--1548 (2017; Zbl 1456.34027)]. As a main result they prove that the Kukles homogeneous reversible system of degree nine has no isochronous centers with the exception of the linear center.
