Let \(R\) be an integral domain with quotient field \(K\), \(F(R)\) be the set of all nonzero fractional ideals of \(R\) and \(\mathrm{Ass}_{R}(K/R)\) be the set of associated primes of principle ideals of \(R\). The function \(g\) defined, for all \(A\in F(R)\), by \(A_{g}=\displaystyle\bigcap_{P\in \mathrm{Ass}_{R}(K/R)}A_{P}\) is a star-operation (also called the \(\rho\)-operation). The \(f\)-operation is defined by \(A_{f}=\bigcup\{B_{g}| B\subseteq A\), \(B\) is finitely generated \(\}\). In this paper, the authors introduced the notion of \(FT\)-domain as a domain \(R\) such that \(A_{f} = A_{t}\) for any \(A\in F(R)\). They characterized the integrally closed \(FT\)-domains, \(g\)-coherent \(FT\)-domains and Mori \(FT\)-domains. They also introduced the notion of Gorenstein Prüfer \(v\)-multiplication domain (\(G\)-\(PvMDs\) for short) as a \(g\)-coherent \(Q\)-domain (recall that a domain \(R\) is called a \(Q\)-domain if for any \(P\in \mathrm{Ass}(K/R)\), \(R_{P}\) is an \(FGV\)-domain). They proved that: (1) A domain \(R\) is a \(G\)-\(PvMD\) if and only if R is a \(g\)-coherent \(FT\)-domain, if and only if \(R\) is \(g\)-coherent and \(R_{P}\) is an \(FT\)-domain for any \(P\in \mathrm{Ass}(K/R)\). (2) A domain \(R\) is \(G\)-Krull if and only if \(R\) is a Mori domain and a \(G\)-\(PvMD\), if and only if \(R\) is a Mori domain and an \(FT\)-domain.
