It is well-known that the positive part of a quantum group can be constructed using Ringel-Hall algebra. The main results of the paper under review are the following: (1) The element in the Hall algebra \(\mathcal{H}(\Delta)\) which corresponds to an exceptional \(\Lambda\)-module lies in the integral generic composition algebra \(\mathcal{C}_\mathbb{Z}(\Delta)\); hence, it lies in the integral form of the positive part of the quantum group. (2) The same element lies in the crystal basis of Kashiwara.
