The authors specialize the construction of a reflection positive Hilbert space due to Dimock and Jaffe-Ritter to the sphere \(\mathbb{S}^n\) and determine the resulting Osterwalder-Schrader Hilbert space. The main result of the paper asserts that this gives rise to an irreducible unitary spherical representation of the orthochronous Lorentz group \(G^c\). A key tool is the crown of the hyperboloid complex domain \(\Theta\) which provides a bridge between the half-sphere and the hyperboloid manifolds during the study of unitary representations of \(G^c\) in spaces of holomorphic functions on \(\Theta\).
