The authors consider the one-dimensional steady non-isentropic Euler-Poisson flow and focus on the multi-transonic shock problem. Pressure is given and is an increasing and convex function of \(x\). Dirichlet boundary conditions are set at \(x=0\) and \(x=L\). Existence of the shock is proved and monotonicity of the shock position and the output density is established.
