The research of sweeping process is one of the hot topic in the theory of differential inclusions in recent years, since it has important application in economy and other scientific areas. There are at least two interesting highlights in this paper. First, the author obtains the existence of the sweeping process by the catching-up algorithm for ball compact sets. At second, he characterizes the nonsmooth Lyapunov pairs by an explicit formula, involving the proximal subdifferential, of weak Lyapunov pairs for the sweeping process. This is very important in practical applications since there are some dynamical systems do not admit smooth Lyapunov pairs. Some interesting applications are also given in the paper. This paper is interesting and contains a contribution that may be of interest for readers in this area.
