This paper is devoted to the study of stability of a family of periodic and quasiperiodic solutions of the Schrödinger equation on a circle of the following type: \[ iu_t + u_{xx} -V\ast u + f(x,|u|^2)u = 0. \] Using some results found in [\textit{J. Bourgain}, J. Funct. Anal. 229, No. 1, 62--94 (2005; Zbl 1088.35061)] the authors extend findings of [\textit{D. Bambusi} and \textit{B. Grébert}, Duke Math. J. 135, No. 3, 507--567 (2006; Zbl 1110.37057)] for the normal Birkhoff form with Sobolev, analytic, and subanalytic initial data [\textit{E. Faou} and \textit{B. Grébert}, Anal. PDE 6, No. 6, 1243--1262 (2013; Zbl 1284.35067)] to various non-resonant linear frequencies. The proposed method is quite universal and allows the authors to formulate and prove a general theorem for a normal Birkhoff form with non-degenerate (e.g., Diophantine) frequencies on exponential and subexponential estimates of stability time in weighted, Hilbert, Sobolev and Gevrey spaces.
