Given some space \(M\) and some distribution denoting the places where the customers live, the facility location problem is to decide where in \(M\) to locate \(N\) facilities according to some objective function. The author establishes a facility location formulation for stable polynomials and elliptic Fekete points. Some consequences related to the elliptic Fekete points, the Tammes problem and the problem of stable polynomials are discussed.
