Remarks on Hall algebras of triangulated categories (Q2354139)

This article studies the derived Hall algebra and its relation to motivic Hall algebras. The main statement is that these two Hall algebras are Drinfeld dual of each other. The strategy of the proof is (1) restate the associativity of the derived Hall algebra in terms of a symmetry of the triangulated category considered, (2) the symmetry obtained is equivalent to another symmetry reflecting the motivic Hall algebras. The authors give a brief and detailed preparation of both of the two Hall algebras, and Section 3 treating two symmetries is well written.
