On the spectrum computation of non-oscillatory and highly oscillatory kernel with weak singularity (Q2355570)

The paper is devoted to the problem of the computation of the spectrum of a compact integral operator with weak singularity. For the problem without high oscillation, the Jacobi-spectral collocation method is applied. The convergence properties are also studied. For the case of computing the spectrum of a highly oscillatory kernel the spectral Galerkin method is used. Numerical results for a demonstration of the properties of the studied methods are presented.
