Due to the spatial heterogeneity and the increasing spread of human activities, the habitats of many biological species have been separated into isolated patches. With the continuous destruction of some species natural habitat, the effects of habitat patchiness or fragmentation as well as dispersal competitive system on the possibility of species survival is then an important subject in population biology. This paper analyzes a more general \(m\)-species time-delayed competitive Lotka-Volterra type dispersal system with periodic coefficients in \(n\)-patches. By utilizing analytical method, sufficient and realistic conditions on permanence and the existence of periodic solution are established.
