This paper presents several interesting necessary conditions in Theorems 1--3 for a Gabor frame. Moreover, such necessary conditions are also sufficient for a Gabor tight frame. The necessary conditions are expressed in terms of the function \(G\) in (3) and the functions \(H_m\), \(\Theta_m\) and \(\Phi_m\) in (5)--(7).
