\textit{I. Gelfand, S. Gelfand, V. Retakh, S. Serconek}, and \textit{R. L. Wilson} [in their paper J. Algebra 254, No. 2, 279-299 (2002; Zbl 1015.16034)], associated to a directed graph \(\Gamma\) an associative algebra \(A(\Gamma)\). In the present paper the case of a layered graph is considered. Then \(A(\Gamma)\) is a filtered algebra. The author studies the automorphism group of \(A(\Gamma)\) preserving the filtration. Under some assumptions it is shown that this group is a direct product of the multiplicative group of the base field and the automorphism group of \(\Gamma\). The particular cases of a dihedral graph and a graph associated with subsets of a finite set are considered in details. There are found multiplicities of irreducible representations of the automorphism group acting on homogeneous components of \(A(\Gamma)\). Similar problems are considered for the algebra \(A(\Gamma)^!\).
