A singular Sturm-Liouville problem with limit circle endpoints and eigenparameter dependent boundary conditions (Q2398802)

Consider the singular discontinuous Sturm-Liouville problem \[ -(p(x)y'(x))'+q(x)y(x)= \lambda y(x), \quad x \in (a,\xi)\cup (\xi,b) \] on a finite interval \((a,b)\) with eigenparameter dependent conditions at \(a\) and \(b\) and transmission conditions at \(\xi\). The operator formulation of the problem as well as asymptotic formulas for the eigenvalues, eigenfunctions and the fundamental system of solutions are given. The author also prove the completeness of the eigenfunctions system. We have to mention that only a part of the results is proved.
