For a semigroup action generated by strictly increasing \(C^r\)-maps on the unit interval, the authors assume that one of the generators has an attracting and a repelling fixed point together with a heteroclinic orbit connecting the repeller and the attractor. For the other generators the authors assume that they form a robust blende, which is able to bring points from a small neighbourhood of the attractor to arbitrarily small neighbourhoods of the repeller. It is shown that, under additional assumptions on the quotient of the second and the first derivative and on the Schwarz derivative, semigroups of this kind have \(C^r\)-generically, for any \(r\geq3\), arbitrarily fast growth of the number of periodic points in dependence of the period.
