The main purpose of the paper under review is to classify tight contact structures on Seifert fibered manifolds over the disk with two exceptional fibers. Such classifications were made for the solid torus and the thickened torus by \textit{K. Honda} [Geom. Topol. 4, 309--368 (2000; Zbl 0980.57010)], and for the thickened genus-two closed orientable surface by \textit{C. Tanya} [Algebr. Geom. Topol. 4, 961--1011 (2004; Zbl 1065.57014)]. Let \(N=D^2(r_1,r_2)\) be a Seifert fibered manifold over the disk with two exceptional fibers. The main result claims that the number of tight contact structures on \(N\) with minimal convex boundary of slopes \(s\) and zero Giroux torsion along the boundary is equal to the number of tight contact structures on a small Seifert fibered manifold \(S^2(-1-[s];r_1,r_2,r_3)\) in several cases such as \(s\in (-\infty,0)\) or \(s\in [2,\infty)\). Here, \(r_3\) is determined by \(s\). The latter half of the paper is devoted to the classification of tight contact structures for \(D^2(1/2,1/2)\) with minimal convex boundary of arbitrary slope and positive Giroux torsion. For example, given any slope \(s\) and a positive integer \(t\), it is claimed that there are exactly two tight contact structures on the manifold with minimal convex boundary of slope \(s\) and Giroux torsion \(t\).
