Let \(f : N\to M\) be a continuous map between simply connected Poincaré duality spaces. The relative loop space fibration \(L_NM\to N\) is defined as the pull-back of the classical path fibration \((ev_0, ev_1) : M^{[0,1]}\to M\times M\) along the diagonal map \((f,f) : N\to M\times M\). Then the loop product on \(\mathbb H_*(L_NM)= H_{*+ \dim N} (L_NM)\) makes \(\mathbb H_*(L_NM)\) into a commutative and associative algebra. In a previous paper, the authors have constructed a spectral sequence of algebras converging to \(\mathbb H_*(L_NM)\) whose \(E_2\)-term is the Hochschild algebra \(H\!H^*(H^*(M), H^*(N))\). In this paper they give applications of this spectral sequence, and in particular the proof of its functoriality in the category of simply-connected Poincaré duality spaces over a fixed space \(M\).
