The paper deals with stability results for Shephard type problems. The study in this direction was initiated by \textit{A. Koldobsky} in [Adv. Math. 228, No. 4, 2145--2161 (2011; Zbl 1228.52006)], where he proved stability results for projection bodies. In this paper, the author shows stability results for volume-normalized \(L_p\) polar projection bodies, introduced by \textit{E. Lutwak} et al. [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc. (3) 90, No. 2, 497--520 (2005; Zbl 1074.52005)].
