Let \(\mathfrak g \) be a simple Lie algebra of rank \(r>1\) over an arbitrary field \(k\). Suppose that \(q\) is a nonzero-element of \(K\) which is not a root of 1. Consider a torsion-free 2-cocycle \(\mathbf p\) from the root lattice to \(k^*\) satisfying some relations. Then the automorphism group of \(\mathcal U_{q,\mathbf p}^{\pm}(\mathfrak g)\) is isomorphic to semidirect product of torus \(T^r\) and the automorphism group of \((\Gamma,\mathbf p)\), where \(\Gamma\) is the Dynkin diagram of \(\mathfrak g\). In particular in the case when \(q,\mathbf p\) are trivial the author gives a positive solution of Andruskiewitsch-Dumas problem [\textit{N. Andruskiewitsch} and \textit{F. Dumas}, in: Quantum groups. Zürich: European Mathematical Society (EMS). IRMA Lect. Math. Theor. Phys. 12, 107--133 (2008; Zbl 1182.17003)]. The proof depends on the following result. Let \(\lambda\) be a strictly dominant integral coweight of \(\mathfrak g\). Then the only \(\lambda\)-unipotent automorphism of \(\mathcal U^{-}_q(\mathfrak g)\) is the identity automorphism.
