The aim of the present paper is to prove mean and pointwise ergodic theorems for an extensive family of actions of lattices on infinite-volume homogeneous spaces. In particular, the authors manage to provide general results which describe the distribution of lattice orbits on the de-Sitter space including rates of convergence in the mean and pointwise ergodic theorems that can be estimated explicitly by giving an optimal quantitative form to the duality principle following dynamics on homogeneous spaces.
