Integral conditions for nonoscillation of second order nonlinear differential equations (Q2492437)

The authors study the asymptotic behavior of a quasilinear second order differential equation. First, they extend the Fubini Theorem, and prove some new integral equalities. Using these equalities the authors are able to establish some necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a solution. In a special case the authors apply results on second-order half-linear differential equations and solve an open problem posed by [\textit{O. Doslý} and \textit{Á. Elbert}, Stud. Sci. Math. Hung. 36, No.~3--4, 455--469 (2000; Zbl 1012.34029)].
