The paper deals with regularity and stability of solutions for the following partial differential functional equation with infinite delay \[ \begin{aligned}\frac{dx}{dt} &= Ax(t) + F(x_t), \quad t \geq 0,\\ x_0 &= \varphi \in {\mathcal B}, \end{aligned} \] where \(A\) is a Hille-Yosida operator. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of strict solutions are presented.
