    Let \(\Omega\) be a homogeneous function of degree zero on \(\mathbb{R}^n\) and satisfy \(\Omega\in L^1(S^{n-1})\) and\break \(\int_{S^{n-1}}\Omega(x')\,d\sigma(x')=0\), \[ G_\alpha(S^{n-1})=\left\{\Omega\in S^{n-1}:\sup_{\xi'\in S^{n-1}}\int_{S^{n-1}}|\Omega(x')|\left(\log\frac{1}{|\langle\xi'-x'\rangle|}\right)^\alpha \,d\sigma(x')\right\}<\infty. \] Define the Marcinkiewicz integral operator \(\mu_{\Omega,\varphi}\) along \(\Gamma_\varphi={(y,\varphi(|y|):y\in \mathbb{R}^n}\) by \[ \mu_{\Omega,\varphi}(f)(x,x_n)=\left(\int_0^\infty|F_{\varphi,t}(x,x_n)|^2\,\frac{dt}{t^3} \right)^{1/2}, \] where \(\varphi\) is a continuous function \(\varphi:[0,\infty)\rightarrow\mathbb{R}\), \((x,x_{n+1})\in \mathbb{R}^n\times\mathbb{R}\) and \[ F_{\varphi,t}(x,x_n)=\int_{|y|\leq t}\frac{\Omega(y')}{|y|^{n-1}}f(x-y,x_{n+1}-\varphi(|y|))\,dy. \] Also let \( \mu(f)(x)=(\int_0^\infty|F_{t}(x)|^2\,\frac{dt}{t^3})^{1/2}\) be the usual Marcinkiewicz integral operator, where \(F_{t}(x)=\int_{|y|\leq t}\frac{\Omega(y')}{|y|^{n-1}}f(x-y)\,dy.\) The main theorem of this paper is the following: (1) If \(\alpha=1/2 \), then \(\mu\) is bounded on \(L^2(\mathbb{R}^{n})\). (2) If \(\varphi\in C^1([0,\infty)), \) \(\varphi'\) is convex and increasing, \(\alpha>1/2, n=2, \) then \(\mu_{\Omega,\varphi}\) is bounded on \(L^p(\mathbb{R}^{n+1})\) for \(p\in(1+1/(2\alpha),1+2\alpha)\). (3) If \(\varphi\in C^1([0,\infty)), \) \(\varphi'\) is convex and increasing, \(\varphi'(0)=0\), \(\alpha>1/2, n\geq3, \) then \(\mu_{\Omega,\varphi}\) is bounded on \(L^p(\mathbb{R}^{n+1})\) for \(p\in(1+1/(2\alpha),1+2\alpha)\). (4) If \(\varphi\) is real polynomial, \(\alpha>1/2, n=2, \) then \(\mu_{\Omega,\varphi}\) is bounded on \(L^p(\mathbb{R}^{n+1})\) for \(p\in(1+1/(2\alpha),1+2\alpha)\). (5) If \(\varphi\) is real polynomial, \(\varphi'(0)=0, \alpha>1/2, n\geq 3, \) then \(\mu_{\Omega,\varphi}\) is bounded on \(L^p(\mathbb{R}^{n+1})\) for \(p\in(1+1/(2\alpha),1+2\alpha)\).
