The authors deal with the study of positive solutions of the equation \[ -\text{div}(|Du|^{p-2} Du)- d(x) u^{p-1}= 0\quad\text{in }\Omega, \] which admits an isolated singularity on the boundary of \(\Omega\). Here \(\Omega\) is a domain in \(\mathbb{R}^N\), \(N\geq 2\), \(d(x)\) is a locally bounded and measurable function defined on \(\Omega\), and \(p> 1\).
