The author considers in a Banach space \(X,\) nonautonomous parabolic problems of the form: \[ u^{\prime}(t) =A(t)u(t)+f(t),a.e.t\in]0,T[\quad {u(0)=x }\tag{1} \] where \(A(t):D(A(t))\rightarrow X,t\in [ 0,T],\) is the infinitesimal generator of an analytic semigroup \(\{e^{\tau A(t)}\}_{\tau \geq 0}\) on \(X.\) She considers solutions in the sense of \(L^{p},p\in [ 1,+\infty [ ,\) that is functions \(u\) such that \(u^{\prime },A(.)u\in L^{p}((0,T);X)\) and satisfying \((1).\) By introducing extrapolation spaces \(X_{A(t);\theta ,p}\) of \(X,\) and with some assumptions on \(\{A(t)\}_{0\leq t\leq T}\) which guarantee \(X_{A(t);\theta ,p}=X_{\theta ,p},\) i.e. do not depend on \(t,\) she establishes for \(p\in [ 1,+\infty [ ,\) the maximal \(L^{p}\) regularity of solutions on this extrapolation space of \(X.\) As a consequence, she obtains weak solutions that have the same regularity of the mild solutions in the autonomous case. Her approach follows the one used for continuous functions by \textit{G. Da Prato} and \textit{P. Grisvard} [J. Funct. Anal. 58, 107--124 (1984; Zbl 0593.47041)], and her results extend those of \textit{M. Giga, Y.~Giga} and \textit{H. Sohr} [Proc. Japan Acad., Ser. A 67, No. 6, 197--202 (1991; Zbl 0754.35018)] and \textit{J. PrĂ¼ss} and \textit{R. Schnaubelt} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 256, No. 2, 405--430 (2001; Zbl 0994.35076)] who proved the maximal \(L^{p}\) regularity for (1) in the case where \(p>1,\) and under the assumptions that \(D(A(t))\equiv D,\) \(A(t)\) has maximal \(L^{p}\) regularity, and \(A(.)\in C((0,T);{\mathcal L}(D,X)).\)
