Let \(D\) be a \(C^{1,1}\) open set (possibly unbounded) in \(\mathbb R^d\), \(d\geq 2\). Denote \(\mu =(\mu^1,\dots, \mu^d)\), where each \(\mu^j\) is a difference of two nonnegative measures belonging to a certain Kato class with respect to the rotationally symmetric \(\alpha\)-stable process \(X\), \(1<\alpha <2\). The authors study the subprocess \(X^{\mu ,D}\) in \(D\) of the \(\alpha\)-stable process \(X^\mu\) with drift \(\mu\). Sharp two-sided estimates of its transition density are obtained. The case where \(\mu=0\) was considered by \textit{Z.-Q. Chen} et al. [J. Eur. Math. Soc. (JEMS) 12, No. 5, 1307--1329 (2010; Zbl 1203.60114)], while the case of processes with drift, but on a bounded domain, was also studied recently by \textit{Z.-Q. Chen} et al. [Ann. Probab. 40, No. 6, 2483--2538 (2012; Zbl 1264.60060)].
