The author studies \(L^p\)-boundedness of a certain class of maximal functions. These maximal functions are related to singular integrals associated to surfaces of revolution on product domains with rough kernels in the Zygmund space \(L(\log L)(S^{n-1})\) (here \(S^{n-1}\) is the \(n\)-dimensional unit sphere). This paper extends previous results of the author [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 311, No. 1, 338--351 (2005; Zbl 1085.42009)] to more general operators.
