A note on the theorems of M.G.Krein and L.A.Sakhnovich on continuous analogs of orthogonal polynomials on the circle (Q2565534)

The paper discusses issues of convergence in Krein's and Sakhnovich's theorems on the continuous analog of orthogonal polynomials on the circle, i.e., convergence of solutions of canonical systems of differential equations in the scalar as well as in the matrix case. The author presents the corrected versions of these theorems, gives some sharp convergence results, and constructs examples illustrating nonconvergence and nonuniqueness of limiting functions.
