For a metric space \(X\) with a distinguished point \(0\in X\), denote by \(\mathrm{Lip}_0(X)\) the space of all Lipschitz functions \(f:X \rightarrow \mathbb{R}\) with \(f(0)=0\), which is a Banach space when equipped with the usual Lipschitz-norm. For every \(x\in X\), denote by \(\delta_x\) the corresponding evaluation functional, i.e., \(\delta_x(f):=f(x)\) for \(f\in \mathrm{Lip}_0(X)\). The Lipschitz-free space over \(X\), denoted by \(\mathcal{F}(X)\), is the closed linear span of \(\{\delta_x:x\in X\}\) in the dual space \(\mathrm{Lip}_0(X)^*\). The main result of the present paper is that the Lipschitz-free space of a finite-dimensional normed space is complemented in its bidual. More precisely, the authors prove the following theorem: if \(E\) is a \(d\)-dimensional normed space, then there is a linear projection \(Q:\mathcal{F}(E)^{**} \rightarrow \mathcal{F}(E)\) whose norm is bounded by the Banach-Mazur distance of \(E\) to the \(d\)-dimensional Euclidean space. In order to establish this result, the authors first prove several interesting facts on finitely additive measures on finite-dimensional spaces.
