The notion of a spine space has been introduced by the first author in [J. Geom. 72, No.~1--2, 172--187 (2001; Zbl 1003.51001)]. A spine space is a partial linear space equipped with a partial parallelism such that the set of lines is divided into two classes. In a series of papers [Abh. Math. Semin. Univ. Hamb. 72, 59--77 (2002; Zbl 1023.51001), Demonstr. Math. 36, No.~4, 957--969 (2003; Zbl 1057.51001), Abh. Math. Semin. Univ. Hamb. 75, 21--50 (2005; Zbl 1085.51005), J. Geom. 85, No.~1--2, 110--137 (2006; Zbl 1108.51002)], the authors and \textit{M. Pankov} have studied spine spaces from various angles. The paper under review introduces new incidence structures related to the geometry of spine spaces. It turns out that the notion of parallelism is a sufficient primitive notion for expressing the geometry of a spine space.
