Mirror symmetry, originally formulated for Calabi-Yau manifolds, has been extended to Fano manifolds by work of Givental, Hori and Vafa and others. The mirror of a Fano manifold \(X\) is conjectured to be a so-called Landau-Ginzburg model, i.e.\ a non-compact Kähler manifold \(Y\) equipped with a holomorphic Morse function \(W\). One of the features such a mirror is expected to possess is the existence of an isomorphism between the small quantum cohomology ring of \(X\) and the Jacobian ring of \(W\). If \(X\) is a toric Fano manifold, this has been verified by \textit{V. V. Batyrev} [Journées de géométrie algébrique d'Orsay, France, juillet 20-26, 1992, Astérisque.\ 218, 9--34 (1993; Zbl 0806.14041)], \textit{A. Givental} [Topological field theory, primitive forms and related topics, Kyoto, 1996, Birkhäuser, Prog.\ Math.\ 160, 141--175 (1998; Zbl 0936.14031)] and others. The main contribution of the paper under review consists in the explicit construction of a SYZ mirror transformation. Following the SYZ philosophy [\textit{A. Strominger, S.-T. Yau} and \textit{E. Zaslow}, Nuc.\ Phys.\ B 479, No.\ 1--2, 243--259 (1996; Zbl 0896.14024)], this is constructed as a fibre-wise Fourier-type transformation which is defined on functions on a trivial \(\mathbb Z^n\)-covering of the open dense orbit in \(X\). Under this mirror transform, the exponential of the super-potential \(W\) is the image of a function which is defined by counting holomorphic discs of Maslov index two with boundary on a Lagrangian fibre of the moment map. An important ingredient for the proof of their main result is a result of \textit{C.-H. Cho} and \textit{Y.-G. Oh} [Asian J.\ Math.\ 10, No.\ 4, 773--814 (2006; Zbl 1130.53055)] which gives a complete classification of holomorphic discs in toric manifolds with boundary in Lagrangian torus fibres. The explicit mirror transform constructed in this paper gives a more geometrical explanation of the mirror symmetry between toric Fano manifolds and their Landau-Ginzburg models. The explicitness of the mirror map is possible because the Lagrangian torus fibration has no singular fibres outside the toric boundary divisor. However, in the case of toric Fano manifolds, there are quantum corrections. They are due to the existence of holomorphic discs (with boundary in Lagrangian torus fibres) which intersect the toric boundary divisor. On the other hand, in the toric Fano case, there are no wall-crossing phenomena to be studied. More general situations are considered by \textit{M. Gross} and \textit{B. Siebert} [``From real affine geometry to complex geometry'', preprint 2007, \url{arXiv:math.AG/0703822}] and \textit{D. Aurox} [J. Gökova Geom.\ Topol.\ GGT 1, 51--91 (2007; Zbl 1181.53076)].
