This paper studies the monomorphism (and epimorphism) category induced by two bimodules over Artin algebras, which is a subcategory of \(\Delta\)-mod, generalizing a previous work of Xiong-Zhang-Zhang [\textit{B.-L. Xiong} et al., J. Algebra 503, 21--55 (2018; Zbl 1440.16017)]. For this purpose, the category has to be a resolving subcategory (Theorem 1.1), which is equivalent to be one of projective modules. Some properties (Section 2 and 4) of this category are studied, for example, it is closed under extensions, it is a Krull-Schmidt category, when it has enough projectives, when it is a Frobenius exact category (Theorem 1.2). The monomorphism and epimorphism categories are equivalent (if we work with exchangeable bimodules, Theorem 1.4), which claims the existence of Ringel-Schmidmeier-Simson equivalence.
