In this paper, the authors give an alternative construction of the THR spectrum in terms of the multiplicative norm construction. They show that THR satisfies cofinality and Morita invariance. These results are then used to carry out calculations. The homotopy type of THR(Fp) and the homotopy type of THR(Z) are also discussed.
