A Torelli theorem for moduli spaces of (Higgs) bundles or parabolic (Higgs) bundles over compact Riemann surfaces has been obtained in a number of cases. The present article studies the case of moduli of stable symplectic parabolic Higgs bundles over compact Riemann surfaces of genus \(g \ge 4\) with a set \(D \subset X\) of marked points. A symplectic parabolic Higgs bundle is given by a triple \(\left( {{E}_{*}},\Phi ,\psi \right)\); in this tuple, the pair \(\left( {{E}_{*}},\psi \right)\) comprises a symplectic parabolic bundle, while \(\Phi :{{E}_{*}}\to {{E}_{*}}\otimes K\left( D \right)\) is a strongly parabolic Higgs field compatible with the symplectic structure \(\psi \), where \(K\) denotes the canonical line bundle over \(X\) and \(K\left( D \right)\cong K\otimes {{\mathsf{\mathcal{O}}}_{X}}\left( D \right)\). For a fixed parabolic line bundle \(L\to X\) and fixed parabolic structure denoted by \(\alpha\), let \({{\mathsf{\mathcal{M}}}_{\text{Sp}}}\left( 2m,\alpha ,L \right)\) stand for the moduli space of stable symplectic parabolic bundles of fixed rank \(2m\) and \(\alpha\), \(L\) as above. The author proves in Section 4 of the article a Torelli theorem for the space \({{\mathsf{\mathcal{M}}}_{\text{Sp}}}\left( 2m,\alpha ,L \right)\) by using the \textit{Hitchin discriminant}, that is, the locus of the singular spectral curves on the cotangent space \({{T}^{*}}{{\mathsf{\mathcal{M}}}_{\text{Sp}}}\left( 2m,\alpha ,L \right)\). In Sections 5,6 and 7, the author develops the tools for proving a Torelli theorem for the moduli space \({{\mathsf{\mathcal{N}}}_{\text{Sp}}}\left( 2m,\alpha ,L \right)\) of stable symplectic parabolic \textit{Higgs bundles} assuming that \(\alpha\) involves full flags and rational parabolic weights, and that the rank \(2m\) and the degree of the bundle are coprime; this ensures that stability of a symplectic parabolic Higgs bundle is equivalent to the stability of the underlying vector bundle. It is shown that the moduli space \({{\mathsf{\mathcal{M}}}_{\text{Sp}}}\left( 2m,\alpha ,L \right)\) embeds in the nilpotent cone of \({{\mathsf{\mathcal{N}}}_{\text{Sp}}}\left( 2m,\alpha ,L \right)\) as a component and, in fact, this is the unique component of the nilpotent cone, which does not admit a nontrivial \({{\mathbb{C}}^{*}}\)-action. This important fact allows the author to reduce the problem of establishing a Torelli theorem for \({{\mathsf{\mathcal{N}}}_{\text{Sp}}}\left( 2m,\alpha ,L \right)\) to the level of the moduli space \({{\mathsf{\mathcal{M}}}_{\text{Sp}}}\left( 2m,\alpha ,L \right)\), for which the desired statement was proven as described above.
