In this paper, the authors study the subject of countably compact groups without non-trivial convergent sequences. They obtain large \(p\)-compact groups without non-trivial convergent sequences on the direct sum of \(\kappa\) copies of \(\mathbb{Q}\), where \(\kappa=\kappa^\omega\) is infinite. Especially, the main result of the article is given as follows: Let \(p\) be a selective ultrafilter and \(\kappa=\kappa^\omega\) be an infinite cardinal. Then there exists a \(p\)-compact group topology on \(\mathbb{Q}^{\kappa}\) without non-trivial convergent sequences. Thus, the authors give arbitrarily large countably compact groups without non-trivial convergent sequences that are torsion-free.
