Let \(\mathbf{U}\) be a quantum group and \(\mathbf{U}^-\) the negative part of \(\mathbf{U}\). Lusztig gave a categorification of \(\mathbf{U}^-\) by using the additive category of perverse sheaves on the varieties \(E_{\nu,Q}\) consisting of representations of the quiver \(Q\) corresponding to \(\mathbf{U}\). The set of isomorphism classes of simple perverse sheaves gives the canonical basis of \(\mathbf{U}^-\). \textit{M. Kashiwara} [Duke Math. J. 69, No. 2, 455--485 (1993; Zbl 0774.17018)] gave a combinatorial construction of this basis using global crystal basis. \textit{M. Khovanov} and \textit{A. D. Lauda} [Represent. Theory 13, 309--347 (2009; Zbl 1188.81117)] and \textit{R. Rouquier} [Algebra Colloq. 19, No. 2, 359--410 (2012; Zbl 1247.20002)] introduced the KLR algebras, whose category of finitely-generated projective modules of the corresponding KLR algebra gives a categorification of \(\mathbf{U}^-\). \textit{M. Varagnolo} and \textit{E. Vasserot} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 659, 67--100 (2011; Zbl 1229.17019)] and Rouquier [loc. cit.] proved that the set of isomorphism classes of indecomposable projective modules of the KLR algebra can categorify the canonical basis. Bounded derived categories of constructible \(\overline{\mathbb{Q}}_l\)-sheaves on some algebraic stacks consisting of the representations of a enlarged quiver have been studied, which categorify integrable highest weight modules of the corresponding quantum group. The author generalizes this to highest weight modules of a subalgebra of the double Ringel-Hall algebra associated to a quiver in a functional version (see Theorems 3.10, 3.11, 3.12, pages 270--271).
