Special lines on contact manifolds (Q2675342)

The work is related to the problem of classification of contact manifolds as well as to the problem of classification of minimal rational curves on contact manifolds. The authors consider special types of contact lines that are minimal rational curves on contact Fano manifolds. Some important results are obtained when these contact lines are singular and of special splitting type. A generalization of some results for complex contact manifolds that are not Fano is also presented. In particular, some results on singular contact lines have a natural generalization for compact contact manifolds of Fujiki class (that are complex manifolds bimeromorphic to a compact Kähler manifold).
