\textit{V. H. Fernandes} [Semigroup Forum 56, No. 3, 418--433 (1998; Zbl 0899.20033)] introduced the pseudovariety NO of normally ordered finite inverse semigroups, namely those for which exists a linear order on its semilattice of idempotents that is compatible with all the partial permutations in its image under the Munn representation. Its importance is shown by its relationship with the better-known pseudovariety PCS generated by the inverse semigroups \(\mathcal{POI}_n\), consisting of all order preserving partial permutations of the set \(\Omega= \{1, 2, \dots, n\}\) under the usual order. Fernandes showed that PCS consists of the aperiodic members of ON, and that ON is the join of PCS with G, the pseudovariety of finite groups. A family of generators of NO was also provided there, namely the semigroups \(\mathcal{POI}_{\Omega,P}\) of ``P-stable and P-order-preserving'' partial permutations of a finite set \(\Omega\), with respect to an ordered uniform partition P. In this paper, the authors show that some specific instances of this construction serve to represent the general case. This specificity enables them to compute their orders and provide a presentation, the details best left to the article itself.
