Let \(\mathfrak g\) be a finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra. The \((q, t)\)-Cartan matrix of \(\mathfrak g\) is the 2-parameter deformation \(C(q, t)\) of the Cartan matrix of \(\mathfrak g\) introduced by \textit{E. Frenkel} and \textit{N. Reshetikhin} [Commun. Math. Phys. 197, No. 1, 1--32 (1998; Zbl 0939.17011)]. In the paper under review the authors study the specialization at \(q = 1\), \(\underline{C}(t) = C(1, t)\), of the \((q, t)\)-Cartan matrix, that they call the \(t\)-quantized Cartan matrix, and investigate the relations with its corresponding unipotent quantum coordinate algebra, root system and quantum cluster algebra of skew-symmetrizable type.
